We stayed for two nights in The Lion Lodge. It was an amazing experience as the lions seemed as interested in us as we were with them, so we felt almost as though we were interacting with them. The lodge and its grounds were beautiful. We loved the outdoor bath as one of the lions would continually come over when it was in use. We could have done with a king size bed in order to have slept better and I’m surprised that the lodge wasn’t cleaned as a matter of course, but overall I would highly recommend it. Food wise the garden restaurant was excellent. We were less impressed with the other food outlets. The staff were all brilliant, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The staff are really well versed on the lodge/luggage/safari arrangements. They are professional and very helpful. Our ranger was friendly and knowledgeable. Our loo in Giraffe lodge was not working when we arrived and it was fixed within about 45 mins. The toiletries are Molten Brown (my favourite!) and the safari tent with private deck was really very luxurious. We were very lucky with the weather and the view was incredible down to the Kent coast.
The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful throughout the park. The red panda encounter was absolutely incredible, made all the more special by Debs’ calm and unhurried approach. Wolf Lodge is a magical place to stay - we lit the fire pit at night and were treated to the wolves coming right up to the garden glass to investigate.
An excellent experience as always. Beautifully presented accommodation and comfy beds. Great walkway over the wolf enclosure (wolf lodge). Food at the garden room restaurant was delicious and fresh and it was a lovely atmosphere. Use of the golf buggy was fantastic as I wouldn't have seem half as much otherwise as mobility isn't as good as it used to be, and there are a lot of hills! Love the orangutans. Great news addition. If you live animals, I'd highly recommend.
